The Ruger 10 22 Target is a match grade target rifle in 22 lr made by Ruger, and is a top of the line .22. The gun is a hefty 7.5lbs and this added weight will ensure that little or no recoil will move the gun for follow up shots and improved grouping. The down size to this weight is that at 7.5 lbs most kids wont want to lug the gun around for to long when they are out hunting with their dads, but if this is the case the gun has 2 sling mounts built in so at the very least it can be shouldered.
The Ruger 10 22 Target has a 1:16" RH twist, with 6 grooves, a target grade 20" barrel made from either stainless steel or steel alloy. The wood comes in a brown or black laminate, the brown being the more traditional of the 2 colors.
The stainless steel, black laminate version has an MSRP of around $599, and the brown laminate with the steel alloy barrel has a MSRP of $499
