The Sig Sauer P224 Nickel is a small frame sub-compact pistol. It is designed for conceal and carry, along with self-defense purposes. The P224 Nickel has a double-stack magazine that holds either 11-rounds of 9mm, or 10 rounds of .357 SIG, .40S&W ammunition. The overall length of the pistol is 6.7-inches, with a 3.5-inch barrel. The frame is made from alloy, with a black hard coat anodized finish. The slide is made from stainless steel, with a nickel plated finished.
The Sig Sauer P224 has Hogue Black G-10 grips, with a front strap checkering to provide shooters with accurate shooting. The front sight is fixed, with a rear SIGLite U-Notch sight. The trigger is a Double Action Kellerman or DAK with a pull of 7.5-pounds, along with DA/SA trigger pull of 10-pounds (DA) and 4.4-pounds (SA).
