The Smith and Wesson Model 340PD is an amazing little revolver that is no longer in production. It's a 11.4 oz revolver with a 1.8" barrel and because of this it really kicks when loaded with those .357 Magnum cartridges. It's much easier shooting the 38 special however as the cartridge has less powder.

This revolver is great for conceal carry, personal defense, and even as a backup duty gun. It holds just 5 rounds due to it's relatively small size, and is finished in Matte Black and is made of Smith & Wesson’s unique Scandium Alloy high strength frames allow for the lightest revolvers
