Features include a 26" carbon steel barrel with a polished blue finish. On the muzzle is a target crown that helps maintain barrel harmonics. Barrel harmonics refers to the vibrations in the barrel after the initial explosion sets off the round and they can become so violent that they throw off the round's trajectory. The stock is designed with a Monte Carlo cheekpiece and beavertail fore-end.
Remington recommends the VLS for varmint hunting.
