The Sig Sauer 1911 22LR Olive Drab is a semi-automatic handgun designed for sport, range, target practice shooting purposes. It was designed to give the same feel as other 1911 models while it is being fired, and cut down on the cost of ammunition while using it on the range in the process. The features include black finish on the controls, extended ambidextrous thumb safety, enhanced beavertail safety, skeletonized hammer and trigger. It also has a magazine safety, drop safety, and firing pin safety.
The overall length fo the 1911 22LR Olive Drab is 8.5-inches, with a height of 5.5-inches, and a barrel length of 5-inches. The frame material is made from aluminum alloy, and features an olive drab finish. The slide material is made from aluminum alloy, and features an olive drab finish. The grips are custom rosewood, and feature U.S. engraved on the side. The magazine holds 10-rounds of .22LR ammunition. The sights are adjustable contrast sights. The trigger is single action only, with a pull of approximately 5-pounds.
