Posted by Jason Brumett
The Sig Sauer P938 Extreme is a sub-compact, small sized frame handgun that was designed to be a low profile conceal and carry, along with personal defense pistol. It is based off the Sig Sauer model P238 handgun, with the main differences being a slight increase in weight and size. The overall length is 5.9-inches, with a height of 3.9-inches, and a barrel length of 3-inches. The safety system is ambidextrous to allow for right or left handed shooters.
The Sig Sauer P938 frame is made of alloy, with a black hard coat anodized finish. The slide is made of stainless steel, with a Nitron finish, and serrations on the rear for an easier grip while loading rounds into the chamber. The magazine holds 6-rounds of 9mm ammunition, and has the option for holding an extended 7-round clip. The sights are the 3 white dot SigLite night sights. The trigger is single action only (SAO), with a pull of approximately 7.5-pounds. It has Hogue G-10 extreme grips with front strap serrations.
