The Sig Sauer P238 Rainbow is a small frame sub-compact pistol designed for self-defense, conceal and carry purposes. It has an overall length of 5.5-inches, and a 2.7-inch barrel. The slide is made of stainless steel, with serrations on the rear for easier loading rounds into the chamber. The finish on the slide and metal controls of the handle are Rainbow titanium. The frame is made of alloy, with a black hard coat anodized finish.
The P238 Rainbow has checkered Rosewood grips on the handle. The front sight is fixed, and rear is a U-Notch Siglite Nightsight that features 3 white dots. The magazine holds 6-rounds of .380 ACP (9mm short) ammunition. It is a special edition series based off the Colt Mustang, which is a compact version of the 1911 pistol model. It comes with a lockable hardcase and one magazine.
