The Smith & Wesson Model 48 is a medium framed revolver that was first introduced to the market in 1959. It has a carbon steel frame, carbon steel cylinder, and an exposed hammer. The Model 48 holds 6-rounds of .22 Mag cartridges, and is used for small game hunting, recreational shooting, or adding to part of a collection.
The S&W Model 48 has a bright blue finish, with a wood grip handle. It has a frame of 9.25-inches, 4-inch barrel, and a micro adjustable rear sight with a pinned patridge front sight. It has a single or double action trigger option.
