The Smith & Wesson Model 686 is a stainless steel .357 Magnum revolver capable of firing the 38 Special as well. At 44.9 oz (empty) in weight an nearly a foot in length this gun is fairly large, but the size and weight greatly reduce the recoil of the .357 Magnum round making this revolver easier to handle than lighter weight versions.
The revolver holds the standard 6, it has a stainless steel frame, stainless steel cylinder, and a nice synthetic black grip that contrast well with the bright stainless steel.
Lovely gun, great for home protection, duty, and blowing up water melons.
