When you think of single-shot rifles, think of the best. Think Ruger No.1, the standard for American-Made single-shot rifles. Strong, simple breech mechanism allows the Ruger No. 1 single shot to be made with a minimum of mechanical contraptions. The Varminter model's ejector mechanism is designed to provide great leverage at the point where the ejector engages the rim or groove of the cartridge case.
