The Ruger American Rifle made by Ruger is a Bolt Action style rifle in Matte Black made from alloy steel, and comes chambered in .243 Win, .270 Win, 30-06 Sprg, and 308 Winchester. This gun has a capacity 4, barrel length across all calibers of 22" and an overall length on the .243 and .308 of 42" while the .270 Win and 30-06 have a 42.5". The gun weighs in between 6 and 1 tenth and 6 and 1 quarter lbs, and has a standard twist of 1:10 right with and exception of the .243 and it is a 1:9 twist. MSRP on this gun is low at just $449 no matter what the caliber.
