The Sig Sauer P2022 Diamond Plate is part of the Pro Series model of handguns that features an all polymer frame, modular fire control unit, along with interchangeable grips. The P2022 is a medium frame handgun designed for self-defense, on-duty, along with conceal and carry purposes. The diamond plate edition is also a limited edition handgun that was produced with a limit on the amount available to the commercial market. The frame has a Picatinny rail that allows users to mount a tactical light or laser onto it.
The overall length of the P2022 Diamond Plate is 7.7-inches, with a height of 5.5-inches, and a barrel length of 4.4-inches. The frame material is made from polymer, and features a black polymer finish. The slide material is made from stainless steel, and features a diamond plated stainless steel finish. The trigger pull is approximately 4.4-pounds for the single action, and approximately 10-pounds for the double action. The magazine holds 10 or 15 rounds of 9mm ammunition. The sights are the 3 white dot SIGLITE night sights.
