The Sig Sauer P224 Equinox is a conceal and carry pistol designed for self-defense or back-up pistol purposes. It is a small frame pistol that is sub-compact size, and fits a double stack magazine that holds 10-rounds of .40S&W ammunition. The overall length is 6.7-inches, with a 3.5-inch barrel.
The Sig Sauer P224 Equinox has a Hogue Black Diamondwood grip, with front strap checkering. The trigger is a Double Action Kellerman with 7.5-pounds of pull. The front sight is a TRUGLO Trititium fiber optic, with a SIGLITE Nightlite U-Notch rear sight. The frame is black hard anodized finish, with a two tone Nitron accent on the slide, and serrations on the rear for easier chambering of rounds during loading.
