Posted by Jason Brumett
The Sig Sauer P210 was originally released in 1949, and featured a variety of changes and upgrades over the previous models through the decades. The newest version is the Sig Sauer P210 Legend, a remake of the original model with some added modern updates. The P210 fires a single stack magazine of 9mm rounds, with a capacity of 8-rounds of ammunition.
The Sig Sauer P210 has an overall length of 8.5-inches, and a barrel length of 4.7-inches. The grips are checkered custom wood for additional grip. The safety is manual and is mounted on the frame to block the trigger to prevent misfires. It also has a magazine safety that blocks the trigger once it has been removed from the pistol. The front sight is a traditional fixed post, with a U-Notch rear post. It is considered a competitive shooting handgun due to it's popularity in being considered accurate, along with a collectors item for older versions.
