The Ruger M77 Hawkeye Compact like all the other rifles or pistols with the word compact appended to the end is a compact version of its primary in this case the Ruger M77 Hawkeye and excelent rifle. This gun at a total length of 35.5" is about 9" shorter than the Ruger M77 Hawkeye Standard. These compact guns provide beter maneuverability in close quarters like dense brush and hunting blinds.
