The Ruger M77 Hawkeye Compact Magnum is a shorter version of the standard Ruger M77 Hawkeye. It comes in the following calibers; 223 Rem , 243 Win , 7mm 08 Rem , 7 62 x 39mm, 308 Win .
The gun is made from fine American Walnut and the metal parts are machined from hardened alloy steel, the steel color is the standard gun metal blue, the gun holds between 3 and 5 rounds depending on he model. The barrel length is between 16.5" (the Standard version of this gun has a 23" or 24" barrel). This gun weighs in between 5 and 6 lbs (a lb less than the standard version), and has an overall length of around 35.5" (the standard has a 43.5"). Ruger has set the MSRP on this gun at $859
