The Sig Sauer 1911 Triple T (TTT) is a large frame handgun designed for self-defense, along with conceal and carry purposes. It has some updated features that include a beavertail grip safety with a speed bump, extended thumb safety, hammer intercept notch, along with a firing pin safety. The frame and slide have been dehorned to help ensure it does not catch on any material or clothing when it is being pulled from concealment for use. It has a match grade barrel, hammer, and trigger.
The overall length of the 1911 TTT is 8.7-inches, with a height of 5.5-inches, and a barrel length of 5-inches. The frame material is made from stainless steel, and features a stainless steel finish. The slide material is made from stainless steel, and features a black nitron finish. The magazine holds 8-rounds of .45 ACP ammunition. The grips are custom wood burled maple, and feature a 25-line per inch checkering on the front strap. The sights are adjustable combat night sights. The trigger pull is approximately 5-pounds for single action only.
