The Sig Sauer M400 Enhanced is a semi-automatic rifle designed for military, law enforcement, hunting, along with competitive shooting purposes. This is a legal civilian version of Sig Sauers M4 line of rifles that has some extra features. Some of the features include a 16-inche chrome lined and phosphate coated barrel to help ensure it will not corrode. It has a pair of quick detach sling mount ring holes. It has a fire selector switch, and an ambidextrous magazine release. The sight rail can add-on a tactical laser, prismatic scope, or red dot sight.
The overall length of the M400 Enhanced is 32.3-inches with the stock retracted, and 35.6-inches with the stock fully extended. It has a 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminum forged lower receiver. The magazine is an AR-15 style 30-round Magpul Pmag that holds 5.56 x 45mm NATO (.223 Caliber) rounds. It has a black Magpul MOE for-end along with grip. The rear sight is a flip-up A3 adjustable sight with a front "F" market sight. The trigger pull is approximately 7.6-pounds. It has a black hard coat anodized lower and upper receiver, along with an A2 flash suppressor on the barrel. It also has a direct gas impingement system with a locking bolt.
