The Sig Sauer 1911 Stainless is a large frame, semi-automatic, handgun, designed for self-defense, along with conceal and carry purposes. It has many of the same features along with modern additions to the handgun, including controls on the left sight, and a beavertail grip safety. The slide and frame have been de-honed to allow users to be able to pull out the weapon with out having to worry about catching on clothing or other material.
The overall length of the 1911 Stainless is 8.7-inches, with a height of 5.5-inches, and a barrel length of 5-inches. the frame material is cut from stainless less, and has a natural stainless finish. The slide material is cut from stainless steel, and has a natural stainless finish. The grips are custom blackwood, and feature checkered straps. The magazine holds 8-rounds of .45 ACP ammunition. The sights are low profile 3 white dot night nights. The trigger pull is approximately 5-pounds for the single action.
