The Sig Sauer P239 Tactical is a small frame, semi-automatic handgun designed for self-defense, back-up carry, along with conceal and carry purposes. It has a threaded barrel with a knurled thread protector, that allows users to add accessories such as a suppressor onto it. The decocking lever and controls are featured on the left side. It also features the short reset trigger system that has a 60% shorter trigger pull to help shooters place more accurate shots.
The overall length of the P239 tactical is 4-inches, with a height of 5.1-inches, and a barrel length of 4-inches. The slide material is made from stainless steel, and it features a black Nitron finish. The frame material is made from aluminum alloy, and it features a black hard coat anodized finish. It holds a single stack magazine of either 8-rounds of 9mm ammunition, or 7-rounds of .357 SIG, or 7-rounds of .40 S&W. The grips are black polymer, and feature front strap serrations. The sights are the 3 white dot SIGLITE night sights. The trigger pull is approximately 4.4-pounds for the single action, and approximately 10-pounds of pull for the double action.
