The Sig Sauer P938 Equinox is a small frame, beavertail handgun, designed for a low profile conceal and carry, or personal protection. It is based off the P238 .380 design. It has recoil operated single action system that locks the slide in the open position once all the rounds have been spent, and the magazine can be ejected and dropped to add another afterwards. The overall length is 5.9-inches, with a height of 3.9-inches, and a barrel length of 3-inches.
The Sig Sauer P938 Equinox frame is made of alloy, with a black hard coat anodized finish. The slide is made of stainless steel, with a Nitron finish. The trigger is single action only (SAO), with a pull of approximately 7.5-pounds. The grip is custom blackwood, with a checkered front strap. The safety system is ambidextrous, which allows right and left handed shooters easier access. The sights are the 3 white dot SigLite night sights. It hold a 6-round magazine of 9mm ammunition, and has the option for users to upgrade to an extended 7-round clip.
