The Smith & Wesson Model 17 Masterpiece is a classic, medium sized frame revolver that features a 6-round chamber for the .22 LR. It has a carbon steel frame, with a carbon steel cylinder, wood handle, and a exposed hammer. It has a pinned patridge front sight, micro adjustable rear sight, and single or double action triggers.
The Smith & Wesson Model 17 is a classic collectors revolver, that is also known for competitive, recreational, and small game hunting. It was origins come from the K-22 series that was manufactured in the early 1900's for shooters who wished to use it in less than ideal conditions, and became popular amongst shooters in the 1940's. The Model 17 has been upgraded to adjust to modern shooting.
