Posted by Jason Brumett
Model 94 Trails End Takedown manufactured by Winchester Repeating Arms is the same length in barrel and overall as the 1894 Model Short Rifle but with a few extra features. The Model 94 (short for 1894) has came a long way in its 100+ years of production, and some of the newer production techniques and quality control make this gun even more amazing.
The word takedown in the Model 94 Trails End Takedown means that when you are ready this gun is easy to take appart and store, clean, and of course later re-assemble. So if you are looking to travel and need to transport a rifle this feature means a lot. Just something to consider.
The Model 94 Trails End Takedown has anice walnut stock with a sating finish (just like the other mode 1894s), has a traditional takedown mechanism, hammer that is drilled and tapped for knurled hammer spur extension that makes it easier to cock, and decock the hammer when you have a scope on top. (has drilled and tapped scope mounts factory)
The Trails End Takedown comes in the popular 30 30 winchester as well as the 450 marlin. MSRP on both is $1,459.99
