Colt Defender™ Series O7002D is the 9mm version with a 3" barrel, a magazine capacity of 8 with room for 1 in the chamber, it's an aluminum alloy colt so it's fairly light, brush steel finish on the slide, the colt 3 hole trigger, and it's a single action.
Colt packs all this into a 6.75" gun (length) that weighs just 25 ounces. Since this gun is light you will feel a bit more recoil as gun weight tends to assist in recoil suppression.
