The Sig Sauer 1911 XO Black is a full sized, semi-automatic handgun, designed for self-defense, along with conceal and carry purposes. It has some added modern features that include a skeletonized hammer, beavertail safety switch, firing pin safety, extended thumb safety. It has a match grade barrel, hammer, and trigger. The frame and slide are dehorned to help ensure it doesn't snag on any material or clothing when it is being drawn from concealment for use. It has a beavertail grip with a speed bump.
The overall length of the 1911 XO Black is 8.7-inches, with a height of 5.5-inches, and a barrel length of 5-inches. The slide material is made from stainless steel, and features a black nitron finish. The frame material is made from stainless steel, and features a black nitron finish. The grips are black polymer, and have 25-line per square inch checkering on the strap. The magazine holds 10-rounds of .45 ACP ammunition. The sights are 3 white dot low profile contrast night sights. The trigger pull is approximately 5-pounds of pull for the single action.
