The Sig Sauer Mosquito Flat Dark Earth (FDE) is a semi-automatic handgun that is 90% the size of the P226 model handguns. It was designed to give shooters the same feel as the regular model Sig Sauer handguns while saving money on ammunition at the practice range. It has many of the same features as other Sig Sauer models including left side controls that feature a decocking lever, break down release lever, reversible magazine catch, along with a safety selector switch on both sides for ambidextrous shooters. The overall length of the Flat Dark Earth is 7.2-inches, with a height of 5.3-inches, and a barrel length of 3.9-inches. The frame material is made from polymer, and features a flat dark earth finish. The slide material is made from aluminum alloy, and features a flat dark earth finish. The grips are black polymer, and feature front strap serrations. The magazine holds 10-rounds of .22LR ammunition. The rear sight is adjustable for elevation and has a fixed front sight. The trigger pull is approximately 7-pounds for the single action, and approximately 10-pounds for the double action trigger.
