The Sig Sauer P220 Classic 22 is a semi-automatic large frame pistol designed for recreational and target practice shooting. The P220 .22 LR has the ability to change out the slide assembly, barrel, magazine, and recoil system to allow users to fire .45 ACP ammunition. The Classic 22 has the 4-point safety system, along with an integrated Picatinny M1913 accessory rail for mounting a light or tactical laser onto it. The magazine holds a 10-round single stack clip of .22 caliber ammunition. The sights are adjustable windage sights.
The P220 Classic 22 has an overall length of 7.7-inches, with a height of 5.5-inches, and a barrel length of 4.5-inches. The trigger is double and single action, with a pull of approximately 4.4-pounds for the single, and 10-pounds for the double. The frame and slide are both made of alloy with a Black Hard Coat Anodized finish. The grips are black polymer with front strap serrations.
