The Sig Sauer P516 7.5" Pistol is designed to be a compact version of the AR-15 model rifle. It fires a 30-round clip of 5.56mm NATO ammunition, and has a selector switch for semi-automatic, along with automatic firing. The overall length is 23-inches, with a barrel length of 7.5-inches. It has flip-up adjustable iron sights that can also be exchanged with mounted accessories, such as a laser sight, scope, or red dot sight system.
The P516 7.5" pistol has a aluminum quad rail hand guard, gas piston operating system, with a 3-position gas regulator, and a hard coat anodize finish on the frame. The trigger is based off military specifications, and has a pull of approximately 7.6-pounds. The grip is a Magpull MOE grip, that allows users to continuously have a proper grip on the handle after each shot is fired. It has a weight of 5.5-pounds unloaded, and a 1:7" twist on the rifle barrel.
