The Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport is an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle variant that features a 30-round detachable magazine. It is an entry level AR-15 model designed to have the most important features, while still being affordable for rifle shooters. It is a recreational, hunting, and competitive shooting rifle design. It has an overall length of 35-inches, 32-inches with collapsed butt stock, and a 16-inch barrel with a 1:8' twist.
The M&P15 Sport has a fully adjustable Magpul Folding MBUS rear sight, and an adjustable front A2 sight post. The barrel is made of Melonite and has a flash style suppressor. It has a chrome lined gas-key and bolt carrier, along with a 6-position butt stock for use with any type of clothing or body frame size.
