The Ruger 10 22 Compact just like all compacts is made to be compact (shorter) allowing for better maneuverability in places like the woods. This gun is a few inches shorter in total length 34.00" and barrel length 16" (may be just over 16"), and weighs barely anything at 4.5lbs. It has a wood stock, and the the metal parts have a satin black finish.
It has a 10 round capacity that fires the standard .22 long rifle, it has a fiber optic front sight, and an adjustable rear sight. Barrel specs are 16" again, 1:16" rh twist rate, with the 6 grooves.
Price varies with MSRP of $319, but you can get a used one for $100-$200 if you shop around.
