You don't have to be in Namibia or South Africa to truly enjoy the beauty that is the Ruger M77 Hawkeye African, all you need is a plot of land and a box of bullets. The M77 Hawkeye African comes in; .223 rem, 300 win mag, 338 win mag, 9.3x62, 375 ruger. The 375 ruger comes in both left and right handed models, the difference being the bolt mechanism arms location and ejection face. The African version of the classic M77 Hawkeye has a shorter bolt stroke and improved feeding over most magnum styles rifles for large game.

The gun has a standard barrel length of 23", overall length of 43.75" (the .223 is .75 of an inch shorter), and a total weight of 7.75. Twist rates vary from 1:9 on the 223 to 1:12 on the 375 ruger. The MSRP on this gun has been set at $1099 by Ruger the manufacturer.

This guns stock is made from American Walnut, the barrel from alloy steel covered in a satin blue finish, it has a front beaded sight and a rear adjustable sight.
