Winchester again shows its reputation for producing accurate and reliable firearms with the SX3 Black Shadow Shotgun. The SX3 Black Shadow features an aluminum alloy receiver with an anodized gunmetal grey Perma-Cote Ultra Tough finish that's more durable than traditional blueing. In fact, it's the toughest finish ever applied to a shotgun. A ventilated rib barrel with matte blued finish is mated to a gas-operated action with Winchester's Active Valve System. The black composite stock with textured grip panels makes the SX3 Black Shadow a pleasure to hold and point while the ambidextrous safety accommodates both left and right-handed shooters. Includes three Invector Plus choke tubes (F,M,IC) the Inflex Technology recoil pad, and a white bead front sight. Self-adjusting Active Valve provides world-class performance, firing five shells in about a half second. New patented next generation Pachmayr Decelerator pad absorbs recoil. Hard heel insert provides a slick surface that won't grab clothing when shouldering. Easy to customize length of pull. Lightweight alloy magazine tube and recoil spring system trims weight by half a pound.

This shotgun has expanded my shooting by adding skeet and trap and eventually upland game. The recoil absorbing technology in the butt stock makes the difference.
