Remington Model 700™ SPS™ DM in either 270 Win,30-06 Springfield,243 Win,300 Win Mag,7mm-08 Remington, or 7mm Remington Mag has a standard MSRP of $672.00 and this really is a good deal in relation to most other guns in this category. It's a good base model.
What does SPS DM stand for? Special Purpose Synthetic Detachable Magazine. The Model 700's are said to be the most accurate rifle right out the box, and this is most likely because Remington has such good quality control making their rifles very consistent from gun to gun and from shot to shot. The stock is synthetic and ergonomic, and it comes with built in swivel studs, and it's pre drilled and tapped for scope mounts.
