The Remington Model 870 Express Synthetic 7 Round is a pump-action tactical shotgun chambered in 12 gauge and 20 gauge. The M870 is a family of pump-action shotguns with a variety of hunting and tactical models. The 7 Round is named after the 6 shells it holds in the tubular magazine plus 1 in the chamber. It is a pretty bare shotgun feature-wise. It has a blasted black oxide finish, which means it is a low luster finish and otherwise has no functional difference from a matte black finish. The 7 Round has a single bead front sight and a fixed cylinder choke. Remington recommends 7 Round for hunting small game, winged animals or home defense.
