Nickel plating is used to cover the Model 870â„¢ Special Purpose Marine Magnumâ„¢ Shotgun made by Remington. This plating prevents all corrosion on land and water. This gun really shines as a maritime shotgun allowing you to just wipe off sea foam and wind blown crud.

This is a super durable and reliable all around utility gun that also looks very nice. With an MSRP of $829.00 however it is much more expensive than the normal $450-$650 range that most of the other Remington's sit in. Why so expensive? Well did you know that Nickel is also sold as "white gold" at jewelry stores? Yep. There is no such thing as white gold, ask your jeweler if you don't believe me. Nickel is great at resisting corrosion, better so than the other materials used by Remington.
