The Sig Sauer 1911 Carry Scorpion Threaded Barrel is a medium frame, semi-automatic handgun that is designed for self-defense, recreational, and carry purposes. It stems from the line of Granite Series Rail models that was later renamed to Revolution when non-rail handguns were introduced. Afterwards, it was renamed into the 1911 line after John Browning's classic model that features some modern updates. Some of the features include a skeletonized combat hammer, flat trigger for faster sight acquisition on targets while firing, and an enhanced beavertail safety. It also has an ambidextrous thumb safety, along with G-10 main spring housing. The frame has an integrated M1913 Picatinny accessory rail for mounting a tactical light, laser, or sight rail onto it. The barrel is threaded for allowing users to add a suppressor onto that as well.

The overall length of the 1911 Carry Scorpion TB is 8.2-inches, with a height of 5.5-inches, and a barrel length of 4.2-inches. The slide material is made from stainless steel, and features a flat dark earth finish. The frame material is made from stainless steel, and features a flat dark earth finish. The grips are G-10 Piranha that feature a magazine well for faster reloading time, along with 25-line per inch checkering on the front strap. The magazine holds 8-rounds of .45 ACP ammunition. The sights are 3 dot low-profile sights. The trigger is single action only, with a pull of approximately 5-pounds on the trigger.
