The Winchester Model 70 Alaskan (not to be confused with the Remington 700 Alaskan) is a modification of the original Model 70 that has now been produced for over 75 years so it is tried and true and super reliable and accurate. This bolt action rifle being a manual rifle is more reliable and easier to maintain. This gun can be had in the following calibers; 30-06, 300 win magnum, 338 win magnum, and 375 HnH magnum. Why the name Alaskan? I'm not sure really if you know please post below. We are guessing it's a marketing scheme as every Alaskan ever born owns a rifle. Even if you are not an Alaskan the Model 70 by Winchester is a great gun.

This gun has a nice Satin Finish walnut stock with checkering, a folding rear sight, moa trigger, open sights, pre 64 styled round feed.
